Some things I learned about getting started with a video project is to create an outline first. Writing out a script is important because it will help me stay on track. If I am having trouble creating an outline for my project or am struggling with which direction to take it, I can always visit the speaking and writing center. The DKC also has spaces that I can book if I want a quiet place to record.
Editing tools are also important to use when completing a video project. I learned that I have access to beginner-friendly editing tools that I plan to use. Editing tools such as Canva, iMovie, YouTube Studio, and Zoom are all editing tools I plan on exploring.
